Playroom

At the 2016 edition of Casa FOA, we gathered we two studios we are friends with –La Feliz and Taller Posible– to design the space that we were assigned: a playroom. We imagined this room as the space where an adult, hypothetically a musician, spends his nights relaxing and having fun. On one hand we presented pieces that were already on our catalogue and in addition, each studio developed specific pieces for the space. In our case we did a marble table tennis table with bronze inlays to represent the lines of the field, and due to the lack of space, the other half was a mirror that simulates that the table is folded. This generates an optical illusion, as when reflected against the mirror, the half of the marble table doubles itself and seems whole.
